More than 40 Australians are among several thousand individuals reported missing after severe flooding on the Nepal-Tibet border. An 11-year-old child, an Australian Defence Force member, and numerous other pilgrims and trekkers are included in the list of those unaccounted for. As of Saturday, 41 Australians were reported missing, contributing to a total of nearly 2,500 people missing in the disaster, which has also affected at least 777 foreigners. The Red Cross estimates that approximately 93,000 people have been impacted by the catastrophic flooding and landslides that have devastated valleys in the region.
